Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), also referred to as "Liquid Gold" named for its rich color, a regenerative medical technique that involves drawing a small sample of your blood and processing it to create a concentrated serum packed with growth factors and platelets. PRP procedures revive a complexions using a clients' own growth factors. This treatment triggers healing by stimulating the production of collagen and new blood flow. Process of PRP Facial Injections
- PRP begins with drawing a client's own blood and using a centrifuge to separate the blood components.
- Once the plasma is separated, growth factors in the platelets from the blood are then injected in to areas of face: forehead, under the eyes, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, lips and neck. The cell response repairs and regenerates new cell growth, helping to improve complexion, skin texture, and pigmentation. These same growth factors aid in slowing and reversing the signs of aging.
- A series of 2-3 treatments spaced 1-3 months apart are recommend for optimal results. We also recommend maintenance treatments every 6-8 months to continue optimal skin regeneration.
